Abstract

This study discusses the components of Islamic education and their individual roles within the philosophy of Islamic education, including the concept of Islamic education, its seven components, and the function of each component in supporting the educational process. This study aims to explain the meaning of Islamic education components, identify the elements that make up the Islamic education system, and analyze the role of each component within that system. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, which involves analyzing both classic and contemporary literature on Islamic education to develop a comprehensive conceptual framework. The study shows that Islamic education consists of seven connected components: educational goals, educators, learners, curriculum, methods, teaching materials, the learning environment, and evaluation. The purpose of education serves as a philosophical foundation and a measure of success; educators act as agents of change and moral role models; students are seen as active subjects with innate potential; the curriculum combines religious and general knowledge to avoid separation; teaching methods help improve learning effectiveness; the environment acts as a supportive system; and evaluation functions as a quality control mechanism and a way to provide feedback. This study concludes that the components of Islamic education cannot be separated from each other, and the success of the Islamic education system depends on the synergy and integration of all its components in achieving the goal of a complete and perfect human being.
