Author Guidelines

SARAHA: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (JPGMI: Journal of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education) accepts scientific articles in the form of conceptual studies or research results that have not been previously published. Articles may be written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic, using Microsoft Word with Candara or Cambria font. The manuscript should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words, including footnotes, bibliography, and appendices.

Aktualisme only accepts articles submitted online through the submission menu by logging into the journal's website at: https://ejournal.staidarulamanah.ac.id/index.php/PGMI/index 

Incoming manuscripts will be reviewed by editors and reviewers using a blind-review process. The final decision on whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected is made by the Editorial Board following the assessment from the reviewers.

Writing and Presentation Requirements

  • Title: The title must reflect the core substance of the discussion. It should be concise, dense, and clear, incorporating the main variables of the paper. Authors are encouraged to provide titles in English or transliterated Arabic.
  • Author Names: Full names must be provided without academic titles, accompanied by the name and address of the institution (affiliation), and a valid email address.
  • Abstract and Keywords: The abstract serves as a summary of the entire manuscript, written between 150-200 words. Keywords should consist of 3-5 words/phrases.
  • Introduction: This section includes the background of the problem, the research objectives or formulation, as well as the methodology, theory, and hypotheses (if any).
  • Findings and Discussion
  • Conclusion

References and Bibliography

All references cited within the text must be listed in the Bibliography. The bibliography must consist of primary sources (scientific journals), making up at least 80% of the total references, and published within the last 10 (ten) years.

It is highly recommended to use reference management applications such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero. The citation format used is Chicago Style 17th edition (full note, with ibid). Citations must follow the system provided in the official template.
